Owning or leasing a Xerox copier/printer is a strategic decision that is sure to increase productivity and workflow in your office. However, if you’re having difficulty using all the features, it could impact your office productivity.

If you’re not used to using a multi-function printer (MFP) that allows you to print, scan, copy, and fax all in one place, you may have some questions. You could need assistance in changing trays or toners or even learning about the features and apps your Xerox machine provides.

Training is provided in copier purchases at the time of delivery or shortly after. However, you might find that you need additional training in the future or for other employees. We have three resources that can help guide you through your questions and MFP needs.

1. Xerox Training Center

Xerox offers an online training center that can serve you 24/7. This allows you to train your team on your specific machine, on your own time.

Taking time to go through these training videos can help your team:

  • Maximize the features of your copier/printer to increase office productivity
  • Implement the secure print feature
  • Increase office document workflow with features such as scan to email

Check out Xerox’s Training Center to learn and maximize all the features and tools that your Xerox MFP offers.

You can also browse Xerox’s app gallery to see the dozens of apps that can help your office productivity.

The Xerox Support YouTube offers easy-to-follow videos that will walk you through a wide range of fixes and how-tos. The best element of Xerox’s YouTube is the playlist sections.

In the playlist section, videos are categorized by specific machines. For example, if you own a Xerox Versant 80 Press, you will go to the playlist section to find all the videos about that machine in one place.

Within these playlists, you can find videos regarding:

  • Removing and replacing toner
  • Locating serial numbers
  • Removing and replacing trays
  • Product tours
  • And so much more!

Head over to Xerox Support on YouTube, hit the subscribe button and browse through the hundreds of videos that are available for your service needs.

3. Service Technicians

If you still need assistance, your maintenance plan gives you access to highly skilled service technicians from Xerox or your vendor. These highly trained technicians are local and dedicated to fixing any issues you may encounter. It’s common to find service technicians with a tenure of well over 10 years with Xerox.
