What Is Xerox Note Converter?

Submitted by Liz Adair on Mon, 04/10/2023 - 14:01

Some people still prefer to take notes by hand because it is cheap, easy, and helps you learn and retain information.

While digital notetaking or typing is quicker and more convenient for many people, research tells us that taking notes by hand improves memory recall of vital info.

While people who type their notes usually type more notes word-for-word than people who write notes by hand, the quality of typed notes is poorer on average than handwritten notes.

5 Features of a High Quality Printer (2024)

A few years ago, our Business Development Manager, Mary Shamburger, attended a convention that showcased copier units from several different brands.

This experience allowed her to see the differences, up close, in the features and designs of each machine, but to her surprise, one machine had a base made of particleboard, an artificial wood made from wood pulp and glue. Since copiers need steel bases to support hardware and protect users from fire, this was a shock.

The particleboard base was preventing the wheels from supporting the machine, and the wood was disintegrating.

In 2020, it was reported that Chromebooks were outselling Macs two to one.

Although many people assumed the sudden increase in Chromebook sales was directly related to the Covid-19 pandemic, recent research indicates that Chromebooks by Google and the Chrome OS continues to attract consumer interest because of its low price and easy-to-use interface.

Now, more and more small businesses and organizations are turning to Chromebooks as a cheaper alternative to Windows and Macbook computers.

But as more organizations begin to use Chromebooks in the office, the issue of Chromebook printer compatibility has become more important than ever before.

As a print vendor with nearly 40 years of experience, STPT is knowledgeable and dedicated to helping you adapt your workplace to the demands of the 21st century.

5 Major Mistakes You're Making With Your Copier Printer (2024)

A copier printer is a lot like a car.

The longer you drive a car, the more likely you’ll have to replace tires, breaks, filters, or engine parts. The more wear and tear you put on an aging car, the more you’ll have to take it in to be serviced.

At a certain point, the amount of service needed to keep your car running may cost more than the car's worth.

Like a car, a copier printer is a machine. This means that your office copy machine or all in one printer has moveable parts that are worn down over time, especially with extensive use.

4 Productivity Tips for Remote Workers

Your alarm goes off at 7 a.m., and you don’t feel worried about being late or fighting traffic to rush to the office at 8.

You feel relaxed and ready for your workday.

Maybe you take a shower, brush your teeth, put on a nice shirt and some comfy pants, and brew a fresh pot of coffee.

Now, it is 7:40 a.m., but you still don’t feel the morning anxiety rush.

Why?

Because you are one of the 92 million people in the United States who can work from home flexibly at least part of the time.

While this flexibility has been a positive change for many Americans, there are still growing pains when it comes to getting used to the new home-based work environment.

With mobile apps expected to generate around $189 billion in revenue by the end of this year, according to research, it’s easy to see why other electronic devices such as copiers/printers have begun adapting to this form of technology.

Not only are apps popular, but the advanced technology and printing options they provide can cut your work time in half.

For example, the time and money spent hiring a professional to translate documents into your client’s language can be drastically cut down through an app that, in a few seconds, does the job for you.

In this article, we will explain in detail the top four reasons your office should go paperless, including the primary financial and environmental benefits for employers and employees alike.

3 Reasons Your Credit Won't Be Approved for Leasing and What to Do About It

Submitted by Karla Metzler on Wed, 03/15/2023 - 08:22

You’ve probably been here before.

Your phone is broken, and you need to buy a new one. But buying a new phone costs $1000!

You can’t just walk around without a cell phone, so what do you do?

You probably pay a percentage of the phone upfront, say 10% of the total cost, which is $100. Then, you take the phone home to use.

Wait, did you just walk out of the store with a brand-new phone after only paying a tenth of the phone’s price?

Probably not. What you did was sign an agreement where, after making a small down payment, you pay on credit for the phone.

This means that you will pay a set price per month to use the product until you have paid the full price, $1000, plus interest.

Leasing a printer from a vendor works the same way.

What Is Printer Pooling? (Pros, Cons, Cost)

Submitted by Keith Metzler on Fri, 03/10/2023 - 10:14

Printer pooling is when multiple printers are linked to share the number of print impressions included in your service contract.

Pooling printers can be beneficial if your company uses many printers because it allows you to consolidate the number of prints included for a billing period into one amount.

If you own a Xerox printer, then pooling is a valuable option offered that can help prevent overage charges. As a Xerox Platinum Solutions Partner, our goal at STPT is to help you take advantage of billing options like pooling.

Pooling makes printing easier so that users don’t have to worry about where they can print important documents, and it can significantly decrease the amount of billing paperwork for your company.
